Alleged Islamic State militants stab to death Christian in Bangladesh’s Kurigram

A CHRISTIAN man – identified as 68-year-old Hussein Ali Sarkar – was stabbed to death by Islamic State militants in Bangladesh’s Kurigram district on 22 March, Reuters reported. Three suspects were reportedly detained by security forces. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that Sarkar was an apostate and describing the attack as a lesson to others.
